On Feb. 20 meet neighborhood author Joe Milazzo and hear excerpts from his latest novel, “Crepuscule W/ Nellie,” at the flagship Half Price Books from 7-9 p.m. Joe will sell and sign his book, which was inspired by the relationships of jazz artist Thelonious Monk, his wife Nellie and Baroness Pannonica De Koenigswarter.

Running through Feb. 22, ‘Skippyjon Jones’ is playing at Dallas Children’s Theater. Skippyjon Jones is a rambunctious Siamese kitten with big ears and an even bigger imagination. When his loving but exasperated mother puts Skippyjon in time-out, he starts to daydream. His imagination takes him far, far away to Mexico, where he pretends that he is a swashbuckling Chihuahua named Skippito Friskito.
