There are several events to be aware of this week. Here are a few highlights.

On Wednesday, the chamber is hosting Building Blocks, a free, family-friendly event in Lakewood. Stop by Caddo Office Reimagined (6301 Gaston Ave.) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to sample some of our neighborhood’s vendors and artisans.

Local businesses will have displays and special offers. Drinks will be provided by Times Ten Cellars, and there will be food from Cava, Deleon Provisions, Fajita Pete’s, Liberty Burger and more.

This is the first event like this, and more are planned for other parts of East Dallas.

Experience Lowest GreenvilleĀ

The Experience Lowest Greenville event, hosted by Lowest Greenville Collective, is back this weekend.

It begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and lasts until 4 p.m., with specials, giveaways and interactive events.

Here are a few activities available: Pizza box folding contest at GAPCo., mix your own drink at Alamo Club, rooftop yoga at HG Sply Co., build-your-own bouquet bar at Leela’s Wine Bar, drink specials at Truck Yard, Belgian beer flights at Meyboom Brasserie and more.

Art214 Juried Exhibition at the Bath House Cultural Center

This event, put on by the Office of Arts and Culture, showcases the works of artists from Dallas and North Texas. The city’s cultural centers — Moody Performance Hall, South Dallas Cultural Center, Latino Cultural Center, Bath House Cultural Center and Oak Cliff Cultural Center — are participating by serving as exhibition spaces.

The exhibition is on view noon-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday now until April 30. It is open until 10 p.m. when there are theater performances.

Munger Wine WalkĀ

Get an insider’s look at five of the Prairie-style homes in the Munger Place Historic District during the Munger Wine Walk and Home Tour.

Wine or champagne and appetizers will be available at each of the homes, and artists will be selling their works on the porches.

The event is at 4 p.m. April 23. Then afterward, neighbors can head to Garden CafƩ for a party.
