More than 30 restaurants will offer small plates at the second-annual Taste of Greenville Avenue festival Saturday, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at 5700 Richmond.

At a sneak preview at Mextopia last week, we tried some of the fare — Mextopia’s own brisket tacos and pozole, hummus and gyros from Cafe Izmir, beautiful thin-crust slices from i Fratelli,  falafel from Kush, baklava from Ali Baba and more.

It was great stuff. Plates will start at $2, and we hear that The Grape will be offering burgers for $5.

Plus bands including the Cliff Blues Band, the King Bucks, Chameleon Chamber Group, Ricki Derek and the Vegas Six, and the BAcksliders will perform.
