Elias Pope will turn Feed Company into the second location of Standard Service, which opened in Rockwall in late 2016, the Dallas Morning News reported.

At the Rockwall location, Standard Service offers barbecue chicken nachos, chicken-fried chicken and build-your-own bowls. But Pope told the Morning News that the Greenville Avenue menu would vary slightly.

One tradition that Pope intends to bring to the new restaurant is the customer-selected cocktail list. Customers can suggest up to eight cocktails that are displayed on a board showing how many of each drink has been sold.

The drinks are paired with a charity, and $1 from each drink is donated. The restaurant has donated $64,000 since the program started, according to the Morning News.

Standard Service is expected to open at 5631 Alta Ave. by early March.

The space won’t change much, except for the decorations, Pope said. He also plans to enclose the patio.

Pope, who operates Gung Ho and Hero, is partnering with Sameer Patel, of Alta Hospitality, on the new restaurant.
