East Dallas neighbor Jo Clay, who we featured in the August magazine for her pottery skills, sent us this photo late Tuesday night of her with actor and screenwriter Owen Wilson.
Wilson, who is recognized for starring in films like Meet the Parents, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Shanghai Knights and others, grew up in Texas and lives in Dallas.
Clay says she was hanging out at Klyde Warren Park when she met him. Along with the photo, she sent this description of the run-in:
“Was doing the insanity boot camp there in the yard. But before it started I was on the side stretching out, and he was walking really slowly and smiled at me. Then when class started, he just kept hanging around and staring, so I asked him if he wanted my picture.”
Apparently he said yes.
