Eat like Simone Biles and order a truffle carbonara from Cane Rosso in White Rock.
The four-time Olympic gold medalist gave our neighborhood eatery a shoutout in a commercial for Uber Eats.
Cane Rosso White Rock was selected for the promo simply because the restaurant does well on the Uber Eats platform, said Jeff Amador, chief marketing officer at PILF restaurant group.
“We have obviously seen a huge uptick in takeout and delivery orders this year, and the Lakewood neighborhood has kept the orders coming,” he said.
Biles films the series titled “Tonight I’ll be Eating…” alongside “Queer Eye” star Jonathan Van Ness. In the commercials, the pair discuss their orders while practicing various stunts in matching leotards.
Cane Rosso’s Uber representative told Amador that Biles selected the truffle carbonara pasta from the menu because she loves carbonara.
