What goes up, must come down. And this rule is, sadly, applicable to bullets. So, if you find yourself boiling with good old American patriotism and pride, remember that whipping out a gun and shooting it off in the air is not only dangerous, but illegal. The rules are clear, and although it may look cool in the movies, a celebration filled with kids and animals is not the occasion to try it.
It is also illegal to shoot fireworks. Please leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals.
