Shooting in Deep Ellum over the weekend leaves 2 wounded

Two people are wounded after a shooting in Deep Ellum early Sunday.

More than one person began shooting around 2:40 a.m. near Main and Crowdus streets. The injured people were taken to a nearby hospital, and the injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.

Dallas police had no additional information about what led to the shooting. No arrests had been made.
