Apothecary, a bar from the team at McKinney-based restaurant Rye, is now open in Lowest Greenville.
It’s housed in the former Wah Wah Room, which closed last year.
The cocktail menu is split into three sections: over the counter, prescription and illicit elixirs. Most are priced in the $13-$17 range, though there are some outliers.
Apothecary also offers a few food options.
“Apothecaries are the source from which bartending and cocktails evolved,” owner Tanner Agar told Culture Map. “We have a team deeply passionate about exploring new flavors and combinations. Like the apothecaries of the past, our team’s exploration and deep research still exposes new possibilities, and we wanted to reflect the connection to the past and the present in our name.”
Apothecary is located at 1922 Greenville Ave. It’s open 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday-Sunday. Limited reservations can be made here.
