The suspect, 41-year-old James Adam Gallaway, was arrested after an hours-long SWAT standoff. Officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 8900 block of San Leandro Drive with a felony warrant for the suspect.

The Dallas Police Department has not said how long the standoff lasted or whether anyone was injured.

Gallaway is in the Dallas County jail on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of evading arrest or detention with a prior conviction, the Dallas Morning News reported. He is also being held on unrelated counts of deadly conduct, stalking and criminal mischief.
