It’s the first day of autumn, but in Dallas, it’s Shakespeare-in-the-park weather. Shakespeare Dallas opens the third play in its park series Thursday with Julius Caesar. The show is "in a world between classical and modern," says spokeswoman Jenni Stewart. The set includes columns that give it a classical feel, but they’re crumbling to give them a sense of time. "The men wear suits instead of togas, but the play is still very much set in Rome," Stewart says.

The 8 p.m. show is at the Samuell Grand Amphitheater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors and students.
