A burglar in Old East Dallas is targeting houses and multi-family buildings with unlocked windows and doors. The man is attacking women in their beds, and he steals electronics. A TV station reported that the man could be a serial rapist, but I haven’t seen anything about sexual assaults in the police reports so far, and the Dallas Police Department hasn’t returned my calls yet today.
We reported last week that a burglar with a similar M.O. had attacked a Lakewood woman.
