Seely’s Mill opened Friday inside the Beeman Hotel, 6070 N. Central Expressway. The names pay tribute to Dallas County pioneer John Beeman, who is reported to have built Seely’s Mill, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Guests can dine in the restaurant, decorated like a saloon, or sit at an outdoor patio. Carryout options and room service are also available.

The menu includes the signature sampler: Central Texas-style sliced brisket, pulled pork, smoked pulled chicken, beans and a cheddar biscuit. All meat is cooked on indoor and outdoor smokers.

The restaurant also serves another Texas food staple, Tex-Mex. Try the street tacos with chopped brisket, chicken tostadas, pulled pork quesadillas or the smoked onion and pimento cheese dip.

Seely’s Mill also has a cocktail menu with signature drinks, such as the spiced pecan Old Fashioned with orange bitters, as well as beer, tequila and whiskey flights.
