Every time I drive past Axiom Sushi on Henderson, I always think I should stop by one of these days. Especially since everyone in East Dallas always complains that there aren’t enough sushi places in the ‘hood. And they’re right, of course. When you compare it to the amount of home-style, healthy-eating or hamburger joints we have, sushi is way underrepresented.

I used to be a pretty avid sushi eater, but I’ve only eaten sushi once in the entire time I’ve lived in East Dallas. I tried Teppo Yakitori & Sushi Bar on Greenville at the recommendation of a friend, and was pretty impressed. They also have great reviews, which speaks well for them.

Aside from Axiom, I also need to try Tei Tei Robata Bar on Henderson, which has great reviews as well. As does The Blue Fish on Greenville.

One sushi-provider I’m curious about is Crazy Fish, the food truck that sometimes makes its way through East Dallas. Has anyone tried it? Maybe it’s just me, but eating sushi from a food truck sounds, well, fishy.
