The Promise of Peace Community Garden has launched a kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for the new Imagine Garden on the parking lot behind the White Rock United Methodist Church, says founder Elizabeth Dry.
Kickstarter is an online funding platform for creative projects like the Promise of Peace Community Garden that allows people to campaign for a set amount of funding. Supporters can pledge however much they’re willing to give, and if the goal is reached their accounts are changed. If the goal isn’t reached, no one pays a dime.
