We first heard Project Pie was planning to open on Lowest Greenville between Steel City Pops and Remedy about a year ago. After months of no activity at the location due to “some contingencies” that area manager Micheal Wynn said he’d rather not talk about, things are finally moving forward.

He also has some news for us: There is going to be a 1957 airstream trailer inside the Lowest Greenville location. It will be gutted out and used as a bar. Most of it will be inside, but then the last fourth of it will be outside, and a patio will be built around it.

“It kind of just follows the theme of Truck Yard,” he explains. “It just flows with the atmosphere of the street. We pride ourselves on getting the feel of a community and then designing the space to reflect that.”

There are also colored tin tiles along one of the walls, and white subway tiles around the inside bar area. Wynn says there will be pop art on the walls once the place is ready for extra decor.

He says they hope to open in mid-May but then added, “Don’t hold me to that.” This will be the second location to open in Dallas.
