Police believe that at least three home break-ins in the M Streets area may be related, according to a notice today from the Central Patrol Division.

Oct. 18, 8 a.m. A Latin male suspect, 28, with short hair and a medium build and wearing gray shirt and jeans entered a residence through a small window. The suspect entered another room where he assaulted a female inhabitant. The suspect then fled the location with some of the complainant’s undergarments.

Oct. 16, 4:30 p.m. The complainant reported that someone entered the Ridgedale Ave.  residence through a rear door and took jewelry and ladies under garments. Prior to the burglary, a witness observed a light-skinned Latin male with short spiked hair at the complainant’s front door. The witness observed the suspect leaving the location in a mid 90s, black Infiniti, 4-door vehicle.

Sept. 13, 1:50 p.m. A woman left her residence on Palo Pinto Ave. but returned 10 minutes later to find her garage door open. As she entered her kitchen, she observed a suspect peeking around the corner, from the garage. As the complainant picked up the phone to call police, the suspect jumped the back fence and fled the location. He’s described as a Latin male, 28-30 years old, 5’11”, 190 pounds, clean shaven and wearing black gloves, gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

“If you see something, say something,” information officers note. “Call 9-1-1 to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Keep house and apartment doors and windows locked at all times. Get to know your neighbors so you know who belongs and who doesn’t. If you are away, consider leaving a light, radio or TV on a timer that goes on and off while you are away from home.“
