A Dallas police officer was taken to the hospital Thursday after being injured in a crash near U.S. 75 and Lovers Lane, the Dallas Morning News reported.
The crash happened at 1:30 p.m. near the Lovers Lane exit on the southbound highway, police said.
Officers were helping a stranded driver when another driver “took faulty evasive action” and hit a squad car, according to the Morning News.
An officer in the car was injured and taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
