Mesquite police tried to pull over the driver of a silver car for a traffic violation around 5 p.m. When the driver didn’t stop, officers began following the car into Downtown and East Dallas.

The driver passed through neighborhoods and even drove the wrong direction on one-way streets, according to Channel 4.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials used a helicopter to watch the chase from above.

When the driver parked on Fitzhugh Avenue, he ran a couple blocks before an officer used a stun gun to stop and arrest him. No one was injured in the chase, which ended around 6 p.m., NBC 5 reported.
