After much protest and a state senator’s involvement, Oncor started trimming trees in Lakewood again last week. We presume that operation is on hold until the weather improves.
But the utility is cutting Lakewood trees to within 7 feet of powerlines instead of the 10-foot-4-inches that had been the standard. We are interested to see how much of a difference that will make. Will it satisfy the angry masses?
