Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom has permanently closed in Mockingbird Station after more than five years in business at that location.

“This was purely a business decision as we continue to focus on other Old Chicago locations throughout the country,” Josh Kern, chief experience officer for parent company CraftWorks Holdings, told the Dallas Morning News. “It’s never easy to close a restaurant. We appreciate our teams and raving fans of the brand, and we certainly enjoyed operating this restaurant.”

The restaurant temporarily closed its doors in August for repairs, but it reopened later that month, the newspaper reported.

The pizza chain joins a host of other restaurants, including Cafe Express, Edith’s French Bistro and Brined Southern Kitchen, that have closed at the shopping center in the past year and a half.

Two other Old Chicago locations remain open in Garland and Fort Worth. The eatery serves deep-dish pizza, calzones, hearty appetizers and a wide variety of craft beers
