The sale is in partnership with Boss Beauties, a women-led initiative and NFT project, according to a press release. Carrie Marcus Neiman, who lived on Swiss Avenue, is just one of the women in the “Role Models” NFT collection, alongside Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Katherine Johnson, Frida Kahlo and other women who have broken the glass ceiling and inspired women and girls.

The NFTs, non-fungible tokens, will be launched March 9-12 on OpenSea. Part of the sales will help provide scholarships and mentoring programs for girls and women.

Later this year, The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation will sponsor women from their community to come to the Downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus location and meet some of Neiman Marcus Group’s female leaders. The women will also get to see the historic archives of Carrie Marcus Neiman’s work at Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas.

Neiman Marcus will also host a series of women’s leadership panels in all of its stores to show the significance of women in leadership positions in business, technology, the arts, design, health, wellness and their communities. Some women who will be highlighted included Maggie Gyllenhaal and A Girl Named Carrie author Jerrie Marcus Smith, who is the daughter of Stanley Marcus.

And in honor of Women’s History Month, Neiman Marcus unveiled a story to showcase some of the most influential female history makers and innovators in the fashion industry.
