This just in from the guy who is trying to develop the southeast corner of Garland Road and Gaston Avenue: If you’re the first person to close on one of the last four condos in his current project, Buzz Lofts, 1111 S. Akard, you’ll walk away from closing with a 2009 Prius.
Zad Roumaya is calling the promotion a "garage update"; the remaining Buzz Loft condos are priced from $189,000 to $214,000. The project had 49 units, so Roumaya appears to be just closing it out. No update on the latest at Garland & Gaston, though; the project is still in the planning stages and awaiting financing, too.
