East Dallas resident Marjorie Howard was recently sworn in as a Dallas CASA volunteer. Howard is the granddaughter of Marjorie MacAdams, the first executive director of FOCAS, which was later renamed Dallas CASA. Howard, pictured on the right, was sworn in by The Hon. Diana Herrera, Dallas County Associate Judge, 304th Juvenile District Court.
On an average day in Dallas County, more than 2,000 abused and neglected children live in foster care because they cannot live safely at home.
