The event, held in Munger Place, has been an annual home tour tradition in the neighborhood since 1977, with the addition of a walk portion coming in 2013.

The homeowners and the five featured homes were selected based on showing a variety of states of restoration and architectural styles. The homeowners are a mixture of longtime neighborhood residents and some who are newer to the neighborhood

This year’s event features several homes with rich histories, including one with 80-year-old family tradition and another whose original owner is Owen Hughes, an influential builder whose works can be found around Dallas.

Standard and premium level tickets are available to purchase. This include one small glass of wine and appetizers at each house. All ticket holders will receive complements of Talulah & Hess, while supplies last.

All wines have been hand-selected by Jimmy’s Food Store & The Wine Therapist.

School PTAs that will receive proceeds from the event include Lipscomb Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School. The exact number of funds will not be determined until they have tabulated the proceeds post-event.
