The 85-year-old building at Bryan and Munger that started life as Munger Place United Methodist Church, closed in June 2009 after Highland Park United Methodist Church bought it.
The church has undergone extensive renovation and is expected to reopen as Munger Place Church on Oct. 24.
The church is hosting a free concert in Garrett Park at 6 p.m. Sept. 26.
