Modern Animal, a membership-based veterinary clinic, is opening a location at Hillside Village.
The Los Angeles-based clinic offers a range of services, including primary and preventive care, surgeries, dentistry and diagnostics.
A membership allows pet parents to access free exams, free shipping on prescriptions, on-demand video consultation, 24/7 chat and phone support, and access to any Modern Animal location.
In November, Modern Animal announced plans to open clinics in Dallas and Austin, the first locations outside California.
“We were drawn to Austin and Dallas by the shared set of expectations that these cities have with our hometown of Los Angeles around experience and quality of care,” the clinic’s founder and CEO, Steven Eidelman, said in a statement. “Like many Californians who made the same move to Texas in the last two years, this second home really feels like a natural fit.”
At Hillside Village, Modern Animal will be located between Original ChopShop and Betty Lou. The space was formerly occupied by The Little Gym, which has since moved closer to Manny’s Tex-Mex, and Results Fitness for Women.
The East Dallas store is planned to open mid-2023 at 6465 E. Mockingbird Lane, and a location in Addison is expected to open by the end of the year.
