Mockingbird Station hosts Paws-A-Palooza, a spring season event featuring live music, life-size games, photo moments, caricature artists and live chalk art on Saturday, April 6. The event benefits Cody’s Friends Rescue, a nonprofit organization focused on rescuing all dog breeds.

On-site will be eligible dogs for meet and greets with foster and adoption information by Cody’s Friends Rescue. The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of Mockingbird Station across from Angelika Film Center.

Early attendees can watch Jan Riggins as she completes live chalk art for the event. Live music from local musicians, including Jonan Rigsbee, will be in attendance.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or seating as surrounding seating is limited.

The free event will host pop-ups for people and their furry friends, like complimentary pet caricature drawings from artists Ben Vincent and Amy Chandler at the photo booth.
