2024 Dallas ISD State of the District

It has been a breakthrough year in Dallas ISD, and we’re gearing up to celebrate the hard-earned progress students and teams are making districtwide. Superintendent Stephanie S. Elizalde, Ed.D., elected officials, and community members will celebrate the “best of the best” at the 2024 State of the District on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Inspiring stories and dynamic performances will mark the evening as districtwide Teachers of the Year and Principals of the Year will be announced.

2024 Total Eclipse                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    On April 8, Dallas will be on the path of a total solar eclipse. For many of our students, this will be the first–and maybe only–opportunity to witness and learn from this natural event. Thanks to the Perot Museum’s generosity, all Dallas ISD students will receive eclipse glasses, and each school will organize its own observation activities. Reach out to your student’s teacher or main office for more details.
