Miznon, an international Mediterranean restaurant chain, permanently closed its location in Deep Ellum at 2639 Main St., according to a post on Instagram.
The post includes a picture of the restaurant with text that reads, “It’s not goodbye,” and continues in the caption, “It’s see you in The Colony.”
“We will miss our friends who’ve become like family this past year,” reads the Miznon Dallas Instagram post from April 15. “You can still get the world’s best hummus, world famous baby cauliflower and all your favorite dishes at our location in The Colony.”
Miznon opened in Deep Ellum in late March 2024, but the chain restaurant was founded in Tel Aviv in 2011 by Eyal Shani, who has been on MasterChef Israel. The location in The Colony opened last fall.
One of the brothers who opened the restaurant in Deep Ellum told The Dallas Morning News that the location was closed because the space was too big.
