The neighbors were less than happy when the 1930s apartment complex McCommas Colonial was torn down last year, just weeks after tenants were told to move out of their homes. They even threw a vigil for the fallen complex.
Now, the dirt is flying as a Dallas-based developer builds 36 condos on the site just off of Greenville.
Stillwater Capitol plans to build Greenwood Flats, comprised of three-story units with rooftop decks and underground parking, according to its website. While town houses and apartments have been planned all over our neighborhood in recent months, condos are still somewhat rare, especially in the M Streets.
The units should be available for purchase later in the year, and prices will start at $400,000.
