Maya’s Modern Mediterranean was damaged early Monday when a car crashed into the building, the owner said on Facebook.
The collision occurred around 5 a.m. at 9540 Garland Road. It was not clear what caused the wreck.
“As if owning a restaurant during a global pandemic isn’t difficult enough, a car drove into our building and took out two of our windows and damaged the building,” owner Russell Birk said on Facebook.
Despite the crash, the restaurant remains open for business.
