March for RespectThousands of supporters will descend on downtown Dallas Saturday, March 23 to show their respect for Texans with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. Participation in the 11th annual March for Respect is free and includes a 1.5 mile walk through the West End and an information fair with more than 70 organizations providing services to those with special needs and their caregivers.  There’ll also be games, bounce houses, a petting zoo, DJ tunes, dancing and other fun activities.

A kick-off rally will take place just prior to the 11 a.m. March, and an awards presentation will follow afterward. Awards include $1,000 to the school and $1,000 to the organization that bring the most participants to show their respect. Registration to compete for awards is free but required, and easy to complete here. A trophy will go to the group with the most spirit. The event kicks off at Market and Corbin.
