The Northeast Crime Summit is an annual event, created to educate neighbors on crime trends and how to keep their communities safe.

Sign in starts at 5:30 p.m. The event will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will be facilitated by Deputy Chief Gloria V. Perez, Commander of the Northeast Division. The Primary speaker will be Deputy Chief Catrina Shead of the Strategic Deployment Bureau. Deputy Chief Shead will give a presentation on Homeland Security and Intelligence.

After Deputy Chief Shead’s presentation, participants will split into designated rooms to discuss crime trends, statistics and a brief question and answer session about their specific areas of interest and concerns. Participants will also have the opportunity to speak with detectives and establish a better understanding of the criminal investigation process. The event will wrap up with a raffle for gift certificates. (Who doesn’t love free stuff?)
