Police over the weekend released what little they know about the death of Jon Pappas, the 63-year-old man found unconscious on Greenville Ave., near Mockingbird.

“At this time, there is limited information in regards to this unexplained death,” they say.

“On Oct. 18, at approximately 9 a.m., the victim was pronounced deceased at Presbyterian Hospital, after being transported from the 4400 block of Greenville.”

Now homicide detectives are asking for the public’s assistance.

If you saw Pappas between 3-9 a.m. Oct. 18, in the vicinity of where he was found or elsewhere, please contact the detective in charge of the case, Det. Isom, at 214.671.3701.

A Facebook page that appears to belong to Pappas shows he is a Dallas resident who is from Medford, Oregon.
