As the show goes on in Tokyo, Lupe Fiasco is partnering with Marugame Udon to help neighbors experience Japanese culture through food.
Marugame is based in Japan but has several locations in the U.S., including one in East Dallas. The restaurant prides itself on its authenticity and specializes in handmade Sanuki-style udon noodles, as well as fresh tempura, robata grill and katsu sandos.
Lupe Fiasco will feature Marugame on IGTV on July 30 and discuss his experiences in Japan and at Marugame. But there’s a special in store for neighbors sooner than that.
From July 23-Aug. 8, visitors to Marugame who sample any of five different menu options and have their Taste of Tokyo card punched for each one will get a coupon for a free bowl of udon on a later visit.
