One of the many ways the Friends of Lakewood (the Dad’s group at Lakewood Elementary) helps Lakewood Elementary is to run the school’s carpool each morning and afternoon, and the Wednesday shift dressed up for the holidays to work the crosswalk. Christmas music, candy canes, and festive costumes were all part of the entertaining morning.
Chris Prestige played Santa, the Elf on the Shelf was Scott Maggard, Bumble the abominable snowman was Russ McMillan and Clifford Nichols and Michael Smit were both Buddy the Elf.
