Little Bean opened in our neighborhood last year right around the time that my daughter was born — great timing for me. This lovely little store on Junius, stocked with owner Christine Visneau’s designs as well as items she has carefully selected, is a gem and a must-visit for parents of young children.
Little Bean will celebrate its one-year anniversary this Friday, Sept. 3 from 6-8 p.m. with champagne (and juice boxes), cupcakes and a DJ. In addition, the store will feature a pop-up shop for Rikshaw Design, and Rikshaw designer Catherine Fitzsimmons will be in attendance, too. Her label has popped up everywhere in mommy mags, so I’m excited to check it out, as well as peruse the rest of the eye candy in Visneau’s store.
