The renovated space holds a capacity of 114 guests, an increase from its 79-guest limit. The upstairs cocktail lounge, Milli, has tripled capacity, hosting 161 patrons versus the previous 49.

“We have maintained the charm of the original Leela’s and updated it with warmer tones throughout the restaurant. Our back bar has also been refreshed taking elements from the newest Leela’s locations. It continues to be a welcoming space for our guests to relax and enjoy some delicious food and wine with friends and family,” UNCO Co-CEO Elias Pope said in a press release.

The Greenville location is open for happy hour and dinner. Leela’s enhanced menu features several new wines, appetizers and house signature Roman-style pizzas. Some new items include a dip trio with hummus, boursin and pimento, spinach dip served with crostinis and Buffalo Chicken Pizza.

Leela’s will be open at 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays with business open till 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

“We are happy to reopen the original Leela’s and have another option for our guests to go to in addition to the Leela’s Uptown and Leela’s Trophy Club locations,” Pope said in the press release.
