Debby Lacey, who is featured in our August story ‘Channeling History’ was a Beatlemaniac who saw just about every rock concert that came through Dallas in the 60s and 70s. Check out Turk’s video interview with Lacey.

Lacey told me that she was about 12 when JFK was assassinated, and afterward, when Dallas was tagged as “the city of hate”, folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary refused to perform here. She never liked them after that and still is not a fan after all these years. She’s still a music lover, and among other genres, she listens to modern pop music, including hip hop.
