Update on last week’s fire at the Lakehill Preparatory School gymnasium: The blaze appears to have been caused by the motor of an exhaust fan that kept condensation out from under the gym floor, says school marketing director Gigi Ekstrom. The school still doesn’t know if the gym can be restored or will have to be rebuilt. School headmaster Roger Perry says that regardless, the gym is expected to be ready for the 2009-2010 school year.
