East Dallas City Councilmember Philip Kingston has never been one to hold back and is pretty prolific in sharing his thoughts on his Facebook page. But this week his words have come under fire by Dallas Police and Fire Pension Board according to the Dallas Morning News.

When asked by WFAA, Kingston was clear that he believes the pension system should sell Museum Tower for at least $100 million. The board’s policy dictates that only designated spokespeople are allowed to speak to the media related to pension issues, and real estate discussions are traditionally kept behind closed doors.

Other board members, specifically fellow Counclimember Lee Kleinman, called Kingston out, claiming his comments could be damaging to the system’s continued negotiations. It lead to a heated exchange Thursday during a board meeting in which chair Sam Friar said he planned to pursue a formal censure against Kingston. Ultimately, Friar failed to follow policy in correctly notifying Kingston of the censure before the meeting, saying he accidentally texted it to the wrong number. Friar said he plans to follow up with proper protocol to formally reprimand Kingston.

In true Kingston style, he took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the matter publicly, saying, “Calling my lawyer” with a link to this picture of Otter from the frat-flick favorite “Animal House.” Otter, of course, famously defended the Delta House against the school’s attempts to expel the frat in this iconic (but PG13) scene:
