If you’re on the hunt for a job or simply looking for opportunities to network with other Dallas professionals, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas (WFSDallas) has organized several events dedicated to connecting job seekers to employers.
WFSDallas’ goal is to “ensure competitive solutions for employers through quality people and for people through quality jobs,” according to their mission statement. The Dallas-based organization has a host of resources and events, from adult education classes to job fairs, designed to meet that goal.
Southern sector Business Solutions Leader, Willie Matlock shared that while they cater their events to different demographics, such as young professionals (18 to 24 years-old) and those relying on government assistance, the organization welcomes the general public as a whole to participate.
“There are so many companies who are relocating here to the Dallas area now,” Matlock said. “And they are finding employees through Workforce Solutions and through our events.”
Starting July 16, here are a few events to keep an eye out for if you’re interested in connecting with employers in our area:
