It looks like Jia Asian Bistro is getting closer to opening its Arboretum Village location.
The Advocate reported the news of the expansion last November, but we haven’t updated since then.
The restaurant confirmed to the Advocate that they’re planning on having a soft opening later this week; The Dallas Morning News reported today that the restaurant will open mid-September and will have Thai dishes on the menu.
Jia has a location in Preston Center, and the restaurant’s first East Dallas location will be in the former Digg’s Tacos spot. It shares a building with Starbucks at the Gaston-Garland-Grand intersection near White Rock Lake.
Jia Asian Bistro will join several other eateries at the shopping center, including White Rock Alehouse, Raising Cane’s and IHOP.
