The J.L. Long Middle School volleyball team had another perfect season, going 9-0, including two wins at the city champion tournament this past Saturday.
The team beat Quintanilla Middle School 2-0 and then Zumwalt Middle School 2-0 Saturday to win the city championship.
This is the team’s second consecutive perfect season. The coaches are Deborah Barnd, Vanessa Rodriguez and Jennifer Garcia.
The players are Jillian Barthelemy, Cabrina Becker, Shekinah Green, Alex Land, Lauren Murray, McKenzie Sandefer, Blake Walker, Catilyn Winters, Paula Hammond, Audrey Patranella and Alexa Zotos.
