Dallas police seized nearly $40,000 when officers served a search warrant Saturday at an illegal gambling establishment in East Dallas.
Several complaints about illegal gambling led to the investigation at 2403 N. Fitzhugh Ave.
Undercover detectives collected enough evidence for a search warrant, which was served at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities said they found seven gambling machines and $39,657 in cash.
