The new Hypnotic Donuts on Garland Road is so close to opening, we can practically taste the fat, deep-fried, candy- and frosting-smothered morsels.
Owners say they are still on track for a January opening, though it’s going to be a challenge. They will be prepared for final inspection next week and after that, and “a few days of test runs” they’ll be ready to roll. (Um, if you’re reading, guys, I know a few willing guinea pigs.)
Importantly, I noticed yesterday that the sign is in place (OK, It’s been there for more than a month, but I just noticed it) and that makes it official.
