A new Italian place called Verona’s is coming soon to the White Rock Lake area, on Garland Road near Hypnotic Donuts and Barbec’s.
Owner Zeqir Lokaj already has opened Verona’s in Plano and Alba.
On the menu: apps include calamari, fried mushrooms, and bruschetta on fresh-baked bread; there is pizza, hot and cold subs, soups, salads and, of course, pasta. The prices look reasonable. We will attempt to reach the owners this week, and will keep you posted on the opening.
