Kroger, through its customer loyalty program, offers a 10-cent a gallon discount on gas for anyone who spends $100 a month for groceries. The catch is that the closest Kroger gas station is at Frankford and Midway.
So what’s a cheap Midwesterner to do? Give up the discount, or use a gallon of gas and 20 or 30 minutes to drive to get the discount?
