Hide, a cocktail bar, is planning to open in our neighborhood this summer.
The business has been working on its space on Greenville Avenue for a while now. We reported on it this time last year, and it still hasn’t opened.
Hide is renovating the former Eastside Social at 1928 Greenville Ave., which has a rooftop patio. Eastside Social closed in May 2020.
But the bar now has signs posted on the building announcing an opening date this summer.
“It’s actually happening early summer 2022,” the sign says.
“We like creating cocktails with brave flavor combinations that push the boundaries of the cocktail experience, with combinations that people have never tasted before, and creating space for people to hang out, make genuine connections with other people and just relax a bit,” the bar says on its website.
Hide uses its own cocktail flavorings, mixers and garnishes.
Neighbors will be able to order both drinks and food.
